Obsidian (DC Comics)

I haven't really read much of Obsidian, but from the panels I have read he seems pretty rad. This dude is always smiling when he's using his powers, which I find delightfully unsettling. Anyway, there isn't much fanart of him, and I think his powers look really cool. So I drew him.

In case anyone is wondering, his alter ego is Todd Rice, and turns out he's the biological son of Alan Scott (the first Green Lantern). How cool is that? There's a panel of the two of them being Brightest Day and Blackest Night somewhere, and I just love the aesthetic and theme. Rock on, you two! _{Although I guess Obsidian isn't really part of New 52 continuity since Alan Scott was revamped to be young and gay. Which is funny because Obsidian is gay. Is it really diversity if you get rid of one gay character to make room for another?}
